FEBI UIN Sultanah Nahrasiyah Holds Senate Election, Two Lecturers Elected as Faculty Representatives

The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) at UIN Sultanah Nahrasiyah (UIN SUNA) successfully conducted the election of faculty senate members on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. The event took place at the FEBI premises and was attended by academic staff and lecturers, proceeding in a solemn and orderly manner.
In the election, two distinguished lecturers were elected to represent the faculty in the senate: Dr. Malahayatie, S.HI., M.A., and Dr. Mukhatasar, M.A. Both are entrusted with the responsibility of strengthening the role of the senate as a strategic and normative body in advancing FEBI’s academic development.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean III, Zulfikar, M.Sos., who emphasized the importance of the senate in maintaining academic governance and institutional integrity. This was followed by remarks from the Dean of FEBI, Muhammad Syahrial Razali, Ph.D., who expressed his expectations that the newly elected senate members would carry out their duties with professionalism, responsibility, and a strong commitment to the progress of the faculty.
To conclude the event, a closing prayer was led by Tgk. Munawar Rizki Jailani, Ph.D., seeking blessings for the newly appointed senate members so they may fulfill their mandate with dedication and bring positive impact to the academic community.
This election marks an important milestone in strengthening institutional governance at FEBI UIN SUNA, reinforcing its vision to become a leading, collaborative, and globally competitive faculty.
